IOEBA Show Points / Championship Information
Requirements for IOEBA Champion title
To earn a IOEBA Champion (CH) title with competition, a dog must:
1. Earn a minimum of 150 championship points,
2. Earn points under at least three different IOEBA licensed Judges,
3. Win three major (Best Male / Best Female)classes with competition under three different IOEBA licensed Judges.
To earn a IOEBA Champion (CH) title without competition, a dog must:
4. Earn a minimum of 150 championship points,
5. Earn points under at least four different IOEBA licensed Judges,
6. Win four majors (Best Male / Best Female or higher) without competition under four different IOEBA licensed Judges.
All Points and Majors are awarded at the sole discretion of the Judge and are not mandatory.
Conformation Points Championship points are awarded in accordance with this point schedule. All points are awarded at the sole discretion of the Judge and are not mandatory. | ||

A. Competition for the Champion title:
Competition is defined as more than one male/female entered and shown in any one of the regular classes (Novice Puppy, Puppy I, Puppy II, Junior, Senior or Veteran classes).
If a judge withholds a first-place ribbon and awards a dog a second, third place ribbon in a class of one, this dog will count as having competed and shall count as competition.
If a judge withholds all awards from the dog, then it shall not count as competition.
Dogs that are excused or disqualified do not count as competition.
A dog that is judged in a class, but whose entry is subsequently determined to be invalid, shall count as competition.
1. Earning a competition win by going Best Male or Best Female:
If only one male or female is entered in a regular class, that dog may earn points at the judge’s discretion. If the dog later defeats one or more competing dogs at any level of competition during the show, the Best Male or Best Female win shall be recorded as a win with competition and awarded as a major. If a dog wins Best Male or Best Female without defeating any competing dogs in the advancing classes, the win shall be recorded as a major without competition.
Requirements for Grand Champion title:
To earn a IOEBA Grand Champion (GR. CH.) title, a dog must:
1. Win the Champion class at least five times with competition.
2. Win the Champion class under at least three different IOEBA-licensed Judges.
3. Must have a minimum of three champions in the Champion Class for win to count towards Grand Champion
A. Competition for the Grand Champion title:
Competition is defined as at least three dogs correctly entered and shown in the Champion class of either sex.
**If there are five Males and five Females competing in any Champion Class, the Class can be split by sex**
Order of Judging:
Regular class Females are judged before regular class Males.
Regular class females: Novice Puppy, Puppy I, Puppy II, Junior, Senior, Veteran, Best Female
Regular class males: Novice Puppy, Puppy I, Puppy II, Junior, Senior, Veteran, Best Male
